This Privacy Policy applies to the Jemputin app, the Jemputin.id web service, and backend services that support the features used by users.

By using Jemputin.id services, users understand that certain data must be processed so account, trip, safety, payment, notification, and support functions can operate.

Prospective partner and driver data. During the partner application and review process, Jemputin may process names, WhatsApp numbers, vehicle information, and supporting documents such as KTP and SIM. This data is used to receive applications, contact prospective partners, review completeness, verify partnership eligibility, support the safety of student transportation services, and meet applicable legal or operational needs. Identity documents are not displayed publicly, and access is restricted to purposes related to partnership review and service operations.
03

Purposes of data use

Data is processed according to the service features used. The main purposes may include:

  • creating, authenticating, and securing accounts;
  • receiving, reviewing, verifying, and following up on prospective partner/driver applications;
  • connecting parents, students, drivers, schools, schedules, routes, and trips;
  • displaying trip status and operational information to authorized parties;
  • providing location tracking during trips that require this function;
  • sending trip, security, and account notifications;
  • operating wallets, recording fees, top-ups, earnings, withdrawals, and transaction reconciliation;
  • handling user support, issue reports, and operational needs;
  • maintaining system security, preventing misuse, and investigating disruptions or suspicious activity;
  • complying with legal, accounting, security, or other legitimate obligations applicable to the service.
04

Location data

Jemputin trip features may use the driver device location to support vehicle tracking, trip updates, navigation, estimated arrival times, and operational monitoring.

For drivers, location updates may continue through a foreground service while an active trip is in progress, including when the app is not currently visible on screen. The app displays a system notification while the location foreground service is running, subject to device capabilities and Android version.

Jemputin.id does not request a separate Android background-location permission. Location use is focused on trip functions and services that require tracking.
05

Camera, photos, and documents

The app and web services may use the camera or file uploads for features that require photos, documentation, or verification. Data related to these functions may include profile photos, student photos, driver photos, and documents required for prospective partner/driver administration or verification, including KTP and SIM.

Certain features may use on-device image processing to help read or detect visual elements. This processing is used for app functionality and not for advertising.

Jemputin.id does not treat photos or face-detection results as biometric templates for user identification. If a dedicated biometric feature is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before that feature is used.
06

Notifications and device identifiers

Jemputin.id uses push notification services so users can receive important information such as trip status, pickup/drop-off updates, operational changes, or account information.

For this purpose, the system may store notification tokens or Firebase installation identifiers associated with an account and device. When an account is deleted, the association of installation identifiers and notification tokens with that account is cleared according to the account deletion process.

07

Wallet and transaction data

Jemputin.id may process wallet information, reserved balances, top-ups, trip fees, driver earnings, disbursements, and other transactions available in the service.

Some financial records or transaction history may be retained after account deletion where required for accounting, transaction settlement, fraud prevention, audits, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. In such cases, personal data that is no longer needed will be deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible.

08

Service providers and parties supporting the system

Jemputin.id uses technology providers to operate certain functions. Providers may process limited data according to the service functions they support.

SupabaseAuthentication, database, storage, and system support services.
FirebaseDevice notifications and related technical services.

Internal credentials such as database passwords, service-role keys, webhook secrets, or provider secrets are not provided to end users.

Jemputin.id does not use personal data to sell user profiles to advertisers and does not use third-party advertising SDKs in the Jemputin app covered by this policy.

09

Data security

Jemputin.id implements technical and organizational measures to protect data, including authentication, role-based access restrictions, HTTPS connections, server-side validation, web-origin restrictions, server-side secret protection, and relevant operational security controls. Access to KTP, SIM, and prospective partner/driver verification documents is restricted to parties who need the information for partnership review, verification, safety, or service operations.

Authentication Role-based access HTTPS Server-side validation

No electronic system can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. Security measures may therefore be updated as the service evolves.

10

Data retention

Data is retained while an account is active or for as long as needed to provide the service, complete transactions, operate trips, provide support, maintain security, and comply with applicable legal or administrative obligations.

After an account is deleted, profile data and personal information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymized. Certain minimal records may be retained where required for historical integrity, transactions, audits, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

Prospective partner/driver application data is retained for as long as needed for review, verification, follow-up communications, security, or related operational needs. If the partnership process does not proceed, data that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible, unless retention remains necessary for legal obligations, security, audits, dispute resolution, or legitimate operational needs.

We do not specify a single retention period for all types of data because retention needs may vary depending on the nature of the data, transaction status, trip status, partnership application status, and applicable obligations.

11

Account and data deletion

Users may request account deletion through the Delete Account feature in the Jemputin app. Jemputin.id also provides a web-based account deletion option for users who cannot access the app.

Before deletion is processed, the system may check for active trips, reserved balances, unfinished top-ups, pending withdrawals, remaining wallet balances, or other operational conditions that must first be resolved.

If the account is eligible for deletion, personal information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymized, account access will be disabled, device data associated with the account will be cleared, and the authentication account will be deleted after the internal deletion process succeeds.

Account deletion is permanent. Certain records may be retained in minimal or anonymized form where required for transactions, audits, security, historical integrity, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

Children’s data

Because Jemputin.id is a school transportation service, the service may process student data directly related to trip operations, safety, student identification, pickup/drop-off status, school, routes, and other information required to provide the service.

Access to student data is restricted according to role and operational need. Parents or authorized parties are responsible for ensuring that student information provided to the service may lawfully be used in the context of school transportation services.

13

User rights and choices

Depending on the context and applicable law, users and prospective partners/drivers may contact Jemputin.id for assistance with:

  • Access to or explanations about account or partner application data
  • Correction of inaccurate profile or application information
  • Deletion of eligible account or application data
  • Questions about data use, retention, or security
  • Managing camera, location, or notification permissions through device settings

To protect users, we may request identity or account ownership verification before processing certain requests.

14

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated if there are changes to features, technology, service providers, data-processing practices, or relevant legal requirements.

The latest version will be available on this page and the update date will be shown at the top of the Privacy Policy. If a material change requires additional notice, Jemputin.id may provide it through the app or other relevant communication channels.
